ContactApproach - Before the show
A strong photo starts with a clear understanding of the story. That’s why we discuss in advance what you, as a company, director or producer, want to convey through the images. Whether it’s for publicity, archiving, or artistic documentation – knowing this helps me focus during the shoot.
If there is a script or show rundown available, I’d be happy to receive it. It helps me capture key moments and changes in atmosphere at exactly the right time.
Approach - During the show
Theater demands respectful observation. As a photographer, I move as discreetly as possible through the space or work from a fixed position. I shoot without flash, in silence, and with full awareness of the piece. This way, the magic on stage remains undisturbed, while I capture expression, movement, and atmosphere with precision.
My focus is on capturing emotion, interaction between performers, the intensity of the play, and the interplay of light and set design. Whether it’s an intimate monologue or a dynamic dance performance, I create images that speak without words.
Approach - After the show
After the curtain falls, you naturally want to access the photos quickly for promotion, press releases, or social media. That’s why I deliver a carefully curated selection of edited images as soon as possible, always with an eye for quality, color, and expression.
Whether it’s for powerful publicity shots or a full visual record, my photos allow the performance to live on. Even after the final bow.
